Founded in 2016 by Cyler Sanderson, Sanderson Wrestling Academy (SWA) has quickly become one of the nation’s premier wrestling clubs. Located in Bountiful at the center of Utah’s beautiful Wasatch Front, SWA is the training hub for top regional talent in Utah and surrounding states. Offering specialized training groups for national-level contenders, local club wrestling, camps, and a soon-to-be-announced specialty fitness training for adults, SWA offers multiple opportunities for wrestlers and coaches to train at one of the best wrestling facilities in the U.S.A. 

SANDERSON WRESTLING ACADEMY (SWA)

Wrestlers who are wrestling at a high level and who have proven they have what it takes to succeed in a high-level training environment have the opportunity to train in the SWA national team training groups. With separate high school, junior high, and elementary training groups, the “Academy” team members are selected from applicants who then come train throughout the year under Coach Cyler. Team members travel to in-state and many out-of-state high level tournaments to compete against the best wrestlers in the nation. Dozens of all-Americans train in these groups. As of fall 2023, SWA is one of 16 teams nationwide to be invited in the Premier National League (PNL), an exclusive league of many of the U.S.A.’s elite club teams including M2 (David Taylor’s club), Gilroy (Daniel Cormier), and many others.
